For soldiers that have been to Iraq or Afghanistan...?

I was wondering because i haven't seen any, but are there any fighter planes that Iraqis or Afghan people have? The only thing ive seen that they have is IEDs, rifles like the AK-47, and RPGs. If they dont have any air support they are pretty screwed because we have some advanced stuff.
