Spot inside ear?

I have a quite large spot in my ear just next to the hole into your head. It squishy on top and harder underneath like cartlidge (im not quite sure how you spell it). Its quite painfull when touched and has been there for a few weeks. It seems to be under the skin like its has came up over night.
