Respiratory problems while pregnant?

Im pretty sure I have bronchitis..or Im starting to get it. My chest has been hurting and I feel the need to cough but nothing is coming up, its just scratchy in the back of my throat and down in my chest. My question is, how are they going to be able to diagnose whats wrong with me if I cant get an Xray while pregnant? Im 32 weeks. Im worried that there isnt a way to diagnose my sickness and I really dont want to be terribly sick while pregnant. :/ My worst fear is being really sick while pregnant , whether it be the flu or pneumonia, etc. and it negatively affecting the baby.
