Is this a good idea, for Valentine's Day?

So, I just recently learned how to crochet and since Valentine's is coming up, I was thinking of crocheting my boyfriend a black wrist band, maybe if I can gain enough talent by then also stich some writing in there but I doubt that will be happening... It's not much but I don't exactly prosper in the money department and I'm only fifteen.. The trouble is he lives two hours away, I doubt he'll even visit...
