History project--i need a "brish" "metallic" look?

i have to do a history project, it's a journal with roman empire and greek empire journal entries as me being a citizen and dealing with issues regarding the peloponnesian war, persian war, the roman republic, Julius Caesar's rise to power etc. anyways, i'm an artistic person. so, i decided that the cover of my journal should be decorated with br stencils. but, that would cost me about $40-50. so, i decided that i would "make" my own "br stencils". now, i need to color it...i'm planning on using metallic paint and i don't know what color to use...this is also b/c. i've worked w/. arcylic paints so far in all my art projects...i have very little experience w/. metallic paints...so, please help...thanks.
