If you were a child would u keep your parents from watching Judge Judy like me, because they may change?

People like Dr. Laura, Judge Judy, etc. I always turn the TV and the radio off when these types of people come on and my parents are around. Just because when I was younger, I used to watch this show a lot and always had it on while my mother was around. Anyway, around that same time, I had my friends over and my mom just shrieked "I'M SPEAKING!!! YOU WILL DO AS I SAY ANDREW," and it was for kind of a silly reason and my friends were just like 'wow'! Anyway, I have kept that show off while she is around for a long time and she's never done it again and I'd like to keep it that way. Do u think you would keep these types of people off television if your parents were around and you were like 17 or 18?
