Does hazing still happen in USMC Bootcamp?

I heard they made it illegal a long time ago but do the Drill Instructors still do it illegally once in a while? This marine who got out of bootcamp a couple of months ago told me a Drill Instructor punched a recruit in the face and later said the recruit's face was in the way of his fist.
