we opened Japan from isolation, stopped those mindless sacrifices the aztecs committed, basically paved the way for global communication, planes, trains, automobiles, physics, aquaducts, air conditioning, refrigeration, space travel, advanced math, fire department, libraries, lightning rod, newspaper.
