Does anyone know of a romantic cottage/B&B for a weeks honeymoon in England?

I am from Queensland in Australia and would love to stay in a quaint cottage in England for about a weeks honeymoon. Unfortunately it will be in Dec/Jan. Somewhere where there are nice day outings (castles, gardens, etc to see close by maybe.) I have never travelled to the northern hemisphere and any ideas would be great. Thank you
